2005-2010 Design Manager -
Responsible - for assembling, managing and training a
talented team of four designers and two draftsmen to
meet a demanding same day/next day product turnaround
environment. Designed packaging for high profile
customers, while managing a creative, high quality, high
volume design and documentation department, ISTA Test
Lab, and sample making department for the Massachusetts,
New Jersey and North Carolina Facilities. Created
engineering documentation flow systems and work
instructions for ISO 9001.

and managed designers for this start up medical device
design and testing division under the direction of
founder Tim Early.
Assisted in the setup of test lab to perform ASTM F88,

SMURFIT-STONE
2003-2005 Design Manager -
Responsible - for design, documentation, testing, and
sampling for the Smurfit-Mansfield
Complex (Container, Graphics, and Protective Packaging
Divisions) and Wakefield division. Directed a team of
four designers, four draftsman and a sample maker.
Reported directly to the Complex General Manager.
Organized - an effective, fast and efficient design
work flow for three mfg facilities.
Maintained - an Access Database System that quickly
cataloged and cross referenced drawings,
descriptions and part numbers
. Created - a documentation system that integrates
designs seamlessly into the Visual Manufacturing,
Harry Rhodes and COMMS Order Entry System.
Primary Designer Medical -for Philips Medical Systems,
Smith&Nephew, Boston Scientific, Siemens, Healthcare
Diagnostics and IDEXX Laboratories.
2000-2003 Sales Engineer -
Liaison between customers, sales and designers, duties
were designing, sampling and testing. Maintained
customer and company documentation using several Cad
systems. Organized weekly packaging review meetings that
included worldwide teleconferencing.
