June 2010 - Present Wal-Mart
Sales Associat
August 2007- May 2010 Murray State University
Housing Security Supervisor Secured dormitories and surrounding areas,
monitored for safety, and adherence to college housing code. I performed
additional duties such as payroll, building assignments, and training of
new employees. I was later promoted after displaying my leadership ability
to perform in a supervisory role. In my capacity as supervisor, I am
responsible for organizing payroll, building assignments, and managing any
issues that occur. I attend weekly meetings with upper management to
discuss ongoing issues, and future planning. I lead monthly meetings with
associates to discuss new policies and concerns. I developed long term
work schedules to accommodate student employee availability.
August 2006-August 2007 Belcher Fuels
Store Clerk/Cashier Effectively managed a full-service convenience
outlet. My responsibilities included stock inventory, loss prevention
management, and reconcililing end-of-day receipts. Additional duties were
training new employees, and performing store closing procedures several
times a week. I was responsible for a balanced till at end of my shift.
February 2006- June 2006 K.F.C.
Chef My main duties included inventory, cooking, and training new chefs. I
was also tasked with completing store closings, and next day preparation.
I displayed initiative, and a desire to take on responsibility by
performing additional duties as required.
Education
2005 - Present Murray State University
Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science (May 2010)
My main course of study included multiple programming language disciplines
such as C++, Java, Perl, Bash, Powershell, Basic-X, and Python. Additional
training included Computer Science classes that gave me a solid foundation
in advanced network troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
I also completed additional courses not required by my major that I found
exciting, and challenging. These classes included game programming where I
collaborated with a design team to complete a working computer game model.
I excelled in Graphic Design, and created CGI images and animation. My
most memorable class was related to the field of robotics. I was part of a
team tasked with programming a robot to complete several tasks, and
successfully traverse a maze.

I have been working with this site as a programmer in my spare time. I am
currently responsible for helping debug code, and support site users. I
perform administrative duties such as enforcing the Terms of Service, and
promotion of the site. This work has provided valuable experience in real
world programming and managing an active website.
August 2006 - Present Computer Repair
I offer my services to repair and troubleshoot computers and computer
related items for my friends and family for a small fee. I have received
several referrals from my customers because of my attitude and willingness
to get the problem resolved in a timely fashion.
