implementing new assembly operations for Toyota Corolla's 2009 Model
Launch as part of the NUMMI Assembly Pilot (Launch) Team using lean
manufacturing strategies. Our group performances lead all North
American plants in ramping up to full production in a record timing.
> Successfully lead a group of team members in a production line
consolidation project to reduce manufacturing footprint on NUMMI's
Door Line.
> Successfully implemented 19 new Assembly operations to NUMMI's Car
Assembly Final 3. Involved in all aspects such as, International
Travel, Design Investigation Reports (DIR's), Assembly Sequencing,
Operations Planning, Training & Training Schedules, Communication
Presentations, Internal Quality Controls, Model Launch Support and
Follow up and Feedback.

Group Leader Chassis 2, Final 1, Trim 2 Passenger Assembly
2004 - 2010
. Accountable for day to day operations of a production group consisting
of 25 collective barging team members. Lead, managed and developed
overall strategies and countermeasure to ensure group targets were
achieved.
. Responsible for the 5 core performance indicators that included
safety, quality, efficiency, cost and HR issues. Analyzed trend data
to develop, implement and follow up with countermeasures to existing
production concerns using the Toyota Production System problem solving
techniques (PDCA).
. Experienced in coaching and providing feedback, process management
kaizens and controls, as well as providing functional expertise of a
lean manufacturing leader to my group.
. Responsible for creating, implementing, and meeting budget
requirements and initiating cost improvements.

2006 - 2008
. Successfully managed a team of 7 Assembly Pilot (Launch) Team Members
in the "Chassis and Final" section of Assembly using lean
manufacturing techniques.
. Ensure that manufacturing standards were followed from cradle to grave
and work completion met scheduled due dates.
. Coached and supported pilot team members through the planning and
implementation of new generation assembly work.
. Work, communicate and resolve problems with inter-departmental groups
regarding quality, engineering and tooling, and assembly concerns.
Worked and supported Toyota coordinators (foreign) with the assistant

1999 - 2004
. Analyzed New Model parts in their proto-stage development phase, using
3 dimensional data to improve safety, quality, and workability for pre-
production level.
. Create and implement the new assembly sequence of work.
. Build pre-launch vehicle at various stages to ensure part correctness,
work sequence, workability and tooling would support mass production.
. Create design investigation reports (DIR's) to address assembly
concern. Explain, negotiate and support Toyota Motor Manufacturing
Japan Design Team in brining pre-production level part ready for mass
production.
. Created, developed, and managed training schedules, internal quality
controls, and model launch support and post presentation reflections.
. Witnessed and anchored in first hand the Toyota Production System
through foreign travel to Toyota's Motomachi, Takaoka, and Tsutsumi
plants.
