AQUATIC / ATHLETICS SUPERVISOR

Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates aquatic

programs, special events and assists with athletic

programs for a wide variety of ages within the

Athletic/Aquatic Division while managing multiple

Examples of Duties:

Assists in the planning, preparation,

implementation, and evaluation of city wide special

events. Supervises planning, development,

aquatic programs and special events for a wide

variety of ages. Schedules facilities and

coordinates aquatic program activities in

conjunction with existing PARD programs. Hires,

trains and supervises aquatic program staff and

contracted class instructors and sport officials.

Promotes the expansion of revenue potential through

various innovative resources. Prepares and

recommends program budget requests, cost estimates,

and justification for needed equipment, supplies

and personnel and make proper purchases. Enforces

policies and procedures for staff, swim team

representatives, instructors, volunteers, and

guests. Assists in the training of coaches,

officials and parents with sports certification

programs. Maintains website for aquatic programs,

sports leagues, and special events.
