PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Superintendent
McCARTY CONSTRUCTION CO. INC., Norcross, Georgia ( 2005-2010
Led teams in the development and construction of high-end restaurants.
Orchestrated each project from construction to final certificate of
occupancy, overseeing sub-contractor and vendor contract negotiation,
resource planning, and site management. Delivered reports, incident /
accident write-ups, photographs, and paperwork from project sites to the
main office. Procured the necessary tradesmen, equipment, materials, and
safety gear to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of each project. Held
regular meetings with project teams to cover health and safety matters and
project status discussions. Supervised up to 30 personnel.
. Influenced a bid that secured a new build project for a PF Chang's
Chinese Bistro in Temecula, California; completed the restaurant 3 weeks
early and $400,000 below recently built PF Chang's of similar size and

. Recruited as Superintendent on a Ballston Virginia PF Chang's, which
required structural repair to high rise host building and careful
scheduling given proximity to public walkways and highways.
. Avoided $165,000 in costs on the Ballston PF Chang's, keeping on budget
through careful planning, coordination, and negotiation with sub-
contractors and prudent financial management.
. Executed a PF Chang's tenant build out in Baltimore Harbor on time and
15% under budget.
. Finished a J Alexander's Restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida on
schedule and under budget in the face of several redesigns and delayed
custom material orders.
. Provided as-built drawings. Compiled vendor / sub-contractor and
supplier contact information, appliance sheets and warranty information
into an owner's manual for each client.

Directed the construction of LDS Meeting Houses throughout the U.S.,
overseeing teams, sub-contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Maintained a
master copy of each project's as-built drawings documenting compliance
with design, specifications and modifications. Handled contract
negotiations, pre-construction reviews, and relations with service
providers. Maintained steady communication on project status and upcoming
challenges with the Project Manager and Engineer. Scheduled meetings to

General Superintendent
CAMBRIDGE HOMES, Victorville, California ( 1998-2000
Oversaw construction teams in all aspects of custom home development,
including home designs, roadways and sidewalks, driveways, fencing and
gates, sewer and water, and custom features. Collaborated with the sales
team on the planning and design of new custom homes. Established a master
project schedule, tracked the budget, and hired sub-contractors and
vendors. Coordinated inspections and meetings with local building and fire
departments as well as other regulatory agencies. Enforced quality
standards through regular site inspections and hands-on attention to
materials used and custom feature designs.
. Repaired sub-contractor and local agency relations, controlled budget
overruns, and brought the build schedule current on the Riverbed
Subdivision project.

Spearheaded a wide variety of construction projects. Specialized in well
known restaurant concepts, including Red Lobster, Carrows, Pizza Hut, Olive
Garden, TGI Fridays, Burger King, Long John Silver's, KFC, and El Pollo
Loco's among others. Secured and managed contracts with vendors, suppliers,
and sub-contractors. Performed in a supervisory capacity while also
contributing to framing, FRP installation, surveying, equipment and fixture
