Item Development Support
(September 2006-Present)
. Primary XML Editor for core UI materials as well as assisted in live XML
edits during client reviews. Superintendents, Teachers and students
throughout all Texas schools utilize these materials.
. Responsible for formatting test items and stimuli per Texas Education
Agency regulations within the limitations of software, budget and
schedules. These items are currently tested on students throughout Texas
to measure assessment.
. Implemented an XML-based content management system for dynamic formatting
of online items
. Contributed creative solutions in storyboard meetings for Pearson's
Innovative Item Initiative. Responsible for coordinating storyboards in
Photoshop, developing programmer specifications for simulations,
attending client meetings, creating prototypes and proof-of-concepts to
develop more efficient client solutions, editing animations in the
timeline and in ActionScript files (AS3), and creating interactive
tutorials.
. Assisted in development via action script 3.0 for Pearson's Innovative
Items Initiative; includes templates, art imports, scoring data,
publishing and QC functionality for interactive flash delivered
assessment testing. Maintains version control of all projects using SVN.
