I am responsible for the children's growth, development, behavior

management, and general needs. I set up and organize facilities, equipment

and materials for daily use. In addition, I supervise children and their

activities during directed and free play time, nutrition periods, nap time

and bathroom duties such as toileting and changes of clothing. I

Administer first aid and assists with health care instruction and reporting

injuries, illness or suspected child-abuse cases to the teacher. Moreover,

I aid the teacher in program activities by working with individual and

small groups of children. Equally important, I prepare and serve snacks and

lunches at nutrition periods and clean up afterward. I help maintain an

orderly and sanitary facility. For example, I set up cots for naps and fold

and store them after nap time. I regularly attend staff and in-service

training meetings as directed.
