Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, Technical Project Lead
Technical Business Analyst and Project Lead on major Financial and IT
initiative. Responsible for application support, gathering business
requirements, completing business requirements documentation (BRD) as
well as creating and distributing processes and procedures manuals
which were used to train over 50 people on HR Financial Systems,
budgets, fixed assets, and IT equipment inventory in 4 sessions over 2
days.
Business Analysis and coordination of multiple projects. Used MS
Project, Excel, Access, and Word for task tracking and reporting of
meeting minutes to Project Managers and Executives as well as
requirements gathering and facilitation of meetings. Used Visio to
complete WBS (work breakdown structures) for increased task delegation
and tracking using "swimlanes".
Technical CRM Business Analyst and Project Lead on Wachovia's e-mail
system upgrade (Lotus Notes 6.0) for the Human Resources enterprise.
Responsibilities included application support, business requirements
documentation (BRD), system testing, requirements gathering, UAT, and
training. This resulted in a successful implementation, increased
speed of communications, and a reduction of expenses.
Technical Business Analyst and Project Lead on a major CRM online bank
initiative involving 20 cross-functional Business Units within the
First Union Direct Call Center. Responsibilities included use of MS
Project to track all tasks for the project plan, application support,
business requirements documentation (BRD), WBS (work breakdown
structure), requirements gathering, and UAT. The project was
successfully implemented by the required deadline and resulted in a
considerable increase in customer service efficiencies.
Project Lead responsible for application for development and support
for an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system for all IT assets and
equipment which resulted in the creation, documentation,
implementation, and
extensive training on new IT asset processes and procedures which
resulted in saving Wachovia $2.5 million.
Used SharePoint to create and update various libraries and lists to
manage and track project work. Gathered and prepared business
requirements for SharePoint site requests to manage projects which
kept the projects on task and within budget.
Main technical leader and liaison for advisement and construction of
business cases, cost estimates, projections, forecasts and budgets for
Wachovia's Enterprise IT and Fixed Assets. This reduced unnecessary
expenses as well as updating equipment at a reduced cost.
Created and maintained a PMO sponsored Project Prioritization process
by developing a project grading system that was aligned to Wachovia's
business strategies. Used MS Visio to present business cases and
project flow diagrams to all cross functional teams. This resulted in
standardized processes and structured resources.
