Objective

To find another job as a Medical Assistant. I was working in the

Orthopedic and Podiatry Department for six years and I enjoyed it.

Experience

5/98 to 3/08 Kaiser Permanente Fontana, CA

Medical Assistant II

To work the patient up for the doctor in the Orthopedic/Podiatry

Department which includes taking blood pressure, taking there

temperature, taking there weight, ordering X-rays, ordering blood

work, doing pre-op paperwork, getting the X-rays for the doctor,

making return appointments for the patient and assisting with minor

surgery procedures.

I also worked in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department working the

patient up for the doctor which included taking blood pressure,

weight, temperature, urine dips, ordering blood work, ordering

Ultrasounds, and making return appointments for the patient.

I have worked in several other departments at Kaiser including the

Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Ophthalmology/Optometry Department,

Dermatology Department, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine.

Caregiver

To help clean her apartment which included vacuuming, cleaning the

bathroom, mopping the floors, changing the linens on the bed, dusting,

doing the laundry, cooking, doing the dishes, and cleaning out the

fridge.

I did her grocery shopping, clothes shopping, and picked up her

prescriptions at the pharmacy.

I also would do whatever chores and errands that needed to be done.

Graduation Certificate for Medical Assistant Program

I had several different Courses while I attended Concorde including

different types of blood drawing, how to perform an EKG, Medical

Terminology, how to do blood pressures, respiration rates, filing,

typing, and giving injections.
