PUBLISHER/EDITOR
Published The Flip Side, an entertainment newspaper, every two weeks. Paper was distributed from Mojave, CA. to
Bishop, CA. Responsible for generating sales, billing, creation and production of the paper using freelance writers,
and creating advertisements for revenue generation. The publication was a 4-color wrap with a 4-color center, 24 pages.
SKILLS
Advertising and Layout - Graphic Design - Used all of the current graphic applications including Adobe Photoshop,
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In-Design and Adobe Reader on a PC platform to create a tabloid newspaper free to the
public. Created customer support through advertising. Manipulated and controlled all electronic data files. Established good
communication through E-mail, regular mail and telephone.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
Supervised 10 other associates. This included filling out time cards, payroll and budget projections. Responsible for
backing up servers and archiving information. Conducted Information Technology trouble shooting on PC. Held weekly
meetings to discuss strategies and action plans to boost revenue and minimize production costs. Analyzed programs,
both financial and graphic, while maintaining security for our information technology department. Created presentations for
