Jan 03- Mar 10 Production Supervisor - Cardinal Health/CareFusion

Oversee Ampoule lines, Assembly and Packaging areas of

manufacturing operations, ensure activities are performed in

compliance with SOP's and organization policy and procedures.

Involved in validations on new and existing

equipment/products. Ensure SOP's are updated and all

processes are performed in compliance with GMP's, SOP, and

OSHA requirements. Interface with scheduling personnel to

meet production forecast requirements and to trouble-shoot

capacity constraints. Inform Manager of production

issues/equipment problems. Perform Low Heat Sterilization

process, ensure timely completion of documentation to

accurately report on yield and materials used. Also, schedule

formulation of solutions in order to allow the verification

process to be completed with the lab and microbiology.

Resolve non-conformances quickly with an effective corrective

with QA on any suspect material and also verify maintenance

Mar 02- Jan 03 Production Supervisor - Therm-O-Link

Perform line checks on equipment to ensure compliance of

product being produced on extrusion lines with

caliper/micrometer. Ensure multi-wire machine is drawing wire

within specification CMA/Elongation and bunchers are

producing wire within the CMA with appropriate tension being

applied. Also trained as a multi-wire draw and buncher

operator, verify first piece inspection, production reports,

downtime is being reported accurately. Resolve quality

issues, prioritize maintenance repairs/workorders.

Responsible for enforcing company policies, planning and

assigning work assignments, performance evaluations, address

complaints and resolve problems (HR duties). Communicate all

issues/problems with other supervisors and management.

automotive components with 38 injection molding machines.

Schedule and organize other supervisors and leads (15

associates per shift), distribute assignments equally between

shifts. Ensure customer requirements are being delivered in

accordance with KANBAN system (JIT), manufacture orders,

forecast raw materials, schedule mold/material changes,

reduce waste (cycle times). Follow-up with Tool Room on

priority molds in work and schedule into production.

Interface with Maintenance personnel on equipment in work and

advise Engineering of processing problems and capacity

issues. Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure parts are

being manufactured to specification, utilize 8D process to

determine root cause on errors. Schedule Production personnel

set-up techs, material handlers, quality auditors, machine

While in production control warehouse in shipping

environment, managed personnel, controlled invoices, bill of

lading, and scheduled full trailer loads to meet production

output for daily and weekly shipments. Utilized 8D process to

determine and correct root cause. Coordinate with Quality

Assurance (QA) to ensure parts are being manufactured to

specification.

Jun 81-Sep 96 Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Management, United

States Air Force

Manage day to day operations safety, productivity and

training and development of personnel to meet short and long

term goals. Able to effectively communicate with all levels

of the organization. Supervise and evaluate personnel,

trouble shoot all discrepancies.

Experience with establishing inventory schedule and

conducting a complete or sample inventory in warehouse or on
