Warehouseman Worker Specialist

Hired by Alutiiq to perform the RDO,PDO mission at DDJC Tracy, CA. My

duties include: received requisition work orders to select, store, stack,

and palletize items out of various location through out warehouse, prior to

selecting stock, visually and physically verified Information such as stock

numbers, condition code, nomenclature, type, size, data of pack and shelf

life were in compliance. Counted and documented any remaining balances on

pick ticket; received and handled all split picks insuring each location

had proper amount of material prior to pulling; stowed material in proper

location and re-warehoused material to proper locations; operated 5k, 10k,

15k, fork lifts, manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, tractors tugs and side

loaders, weighting up to 10,000 pounds.

Performed routine operator maintenance on each equipment prior to

operating. Used RF gun to scan bar codes and stock locations for each IRRD

and to maintain inventory accuracy in warehouses. Used measuring tape to

insure proper heights and widths of pallet loads were loaded onto the right

conveyances. Received, unloaded and visually inspected all incoming

material, for any overage, shorts or damaged material documenting and

reporting to supervisor.

Did cognitive research on any discrepancies, to verify they were over

short, wrong nomenclatures and had proper (NSNs), noted and reported to

proper supervisor for correction.

Did packing and repackaging using portable herbie's on variety of materials

checking control numbers, stock; quantity, weight, cube and priority,

determining appropriate method of each pack by type of Dodacc and

commodity. Building tri walls and multi wall packs; determined if each pack

was small parcel or bulk items, added material data sheet with each

shipment, investigated potential denials caused by shortages, determined if

each shipment was CONUS or OCONUS and handled accordingly. Used

appropriate tools for shipping such as tape dispensers banding machines and

strapping tools. Used computer and keyboards to receive and transmit, pick

and stow data into the Distribution Standard System; (DSS) completed and

signed shipping and receiving reports.

Performed (COSIS) according to guidelines established for maintaining stock

warehouse in a clean safe manner that best facilitate basic warehousing

functions such as selection, stowing, Shipping, receiving and inventory

accuracy. Performed daily housekeeping of the warehouse, picking up trash,

dunnage and debris to maintain cleanness. Capable of working without

supervision, also standing on hard surfaces; safely bending, stooping and

working in tiring positions for an extended period of times, able to lift

and carry items weighting up to 40 pounds independently and over 40 pounds

with assistance. Work indoors or outdoors in hot, damp, cold and poor

lighting conditions. Wear protective clothing such as steel toe shoes,

safety glasses and ear plugs. MHE certified.
