Worked with the Photonic Systems Development Lab (PSDL) on a Master thesis project
t hat involved the design of an optical microprocessor for smart pixel applications. Tasks
i ncluded design of the processor (using a tool called MAGIC), simulated testing,
fabrication (by a third party vendor) and testing and debugging of the chip. The design
environment was UN IX (Sun Solaris) and the chip testing was performed using a tool
called LabView.
