Developer Medical

Hello, I am Bruce Stockwell. I am from Barnwell, South Carolina. I am currently

enrolled in DTC and will study Computer Programming. I am thankful to be able to get

back into school. I chose Denmark Technical College for the convenience of being just

15 miles from the house. Denmark Tech has very nice people that helped me through

the whole enrollment process.

I chose Computer Technology as my major. I chose this field because I think

computers in the work force are the way to go. I enjoy messing around with computers

and the internet. I also like challenges and I think that computers and the work that may

come along with them can be challenging. I gave consideration to the medical field, and

I know the medical field is also booming, as well as maybe engineering, but

I am not good with the situations that go with that field. My Plans after I graduate

Denmark Technical College is hopefully get into the IT Department somewhere at entry

level and go from there. I may also take some Web Page design classes and maybe

Computer servicing type classes as well so that that will help broaden my job

search. So I guess my chosen career would be maybe in a plant or Hospital

working on computers, troubleshooting or maybe even a programmer, or

developer. I have gotten some self instructed programming books to get a jump on maybe

a future job as a Developer. So if these plans come true, and I end up in the IT field

or as a Programmer, in five years I plan on being established in my job as well as have

a very good understanding about it. So with Denmark Technical College and my will to

learn Computer Technology, I plan on making a career out of working with computers.
