I was working in Warehouse 403 under the direction of Civilian Supervisor

Eugene Thomas. Unloading incoming material from trains, by opening crates,

boxes, cartons, or bags and stocking material in the correct labeled areas such

as shelves, cabinets, racks, and drawers. Assembly kits for Specific stations

including but not limited to Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAV), Humvee, and

MK48's. Gather the specific parts to build kits by checking and verify local stock

numbers (NSN) required by the Material Resource Planning System II(MRP) on

parts and picking list. Use a fork lift, hand cart, pallet jack, electric cart on a daily

basis. I hand deliver parts to the assembly location of kits when fork lifts, hand

carts, or jack pallets are not available. Receive detailed instruction on work to be

accomplished and make decisions within the framework of the prescribed

procedures, such as which work area is using a particular item and which bin or

rack will be most convenient for the storage. Work direction is received from my

civilian supervisor who assigns work and directs the accomplishment of specific

tasks. I work alone on some new assignments where detailed instructions are

provided. I am responsible for performing individual day-to-day job assignments

under normal supervision after competence has been demonstrated. I am

constantly kneeling, crouching, stooping, and walking to the required locations. I

have knowledge of a variety of parts and equipment. I can identify routine items
