Job Duties:
I cleaned instruments as they came out of sugery for use of the next
day or for reuse for the same day in a following case.
I kept records of the biological strips used in the sterilizer for the
instruments processed that day. The nurses would want to know
what was in each load to see if they needed an instrument in process
for that day or the following day to use in certain cases.
I would also keep records of instruments being sent out for repair,
and the ones that come back from repair so they could return into the
proper place to be found and used if needed for a case.
