PM responsible for designing, constructing and implementing various systems. Managed budgets up to 650K.

Provided support for all implemented systems. Utilized the following technologies within projects:

• JAVA (J2EE) on AIX platform for multilingual web applications (ex. ETL modules, Underwriting,

Cash Receipts, Claims in English, French and Mandarin Chinese). Utilized Waterfall methodology to

ensure collaboration with other corporate projects. Served as Program Manager on many projects.

Achievements:

Project Manager for entire SDLC of Canadian Cash Receipt system. Delivered multilingual application in

French and English. Created modules to convert from Canadian dollar to US dollar. Created modules for data

integration into domestic operations financial system (Hyperion).

Project Manager for entire SDLC of Hong Kong Underwriting Origination System. Delivered multilingual

application in Mandarin and English. Generated data mappings and extracts for end user reporting in Crystal

Reports.

Program Manager and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Direct Submit an automated underwriting decision

engine interface to Fannie Mae’s DU (Desktop Underwriter) or Freddie Mac’s LP (Loan Prospector) for

domestic operations.

Program Manager and SME for MI Captive, an interactive application for domestic re-insurance reporting.

J2EE front-end that interacted with Cognos multi-dimensional cubes on the backend. An integrated LDAP

layer shared authentication credentials for single sign-on solution.

customers. This was usually in the form of special data requirements.

Project Manager for integration of interfaces to special programs for customers (ie Community Reinvestment

Act (CRA), Cert Finder (search engine for existing certificates), Rate Runner (automated premium rate

calculator)).

Program Manager for modification projects to legacy Cash Receipts and Claims systems in order to migrate

data to corporate Financial System (Hyperion),

• Business Intelligence (BI) for Cognos on Intel, AIX and Sun platforms. Served as company BI Subject

Matter Expert, responsible for Master Data Management processes and all corporate reporting. Managed

accurate and timely delivery of all Business Intelligence requirements for IT projects.

Achievements:

Project Manager for Migration of 500+ objects from Cognos 7.4 on Intel platform to Cognos 8.4 on AIX

platform. Simultaneously supported users on Cognos 7.4 platform during conversion.

Maintained metadata and ETL processes via elicitation of data requirements from all corporate projects.

Managed integration to corporate Sun platform LDAP as primary user authentication source for Cognos portal.

Setup group/role level security for 300 + users.

Utilized RAD methodology for creation of new objects and Waterfall when migrating existing objects within

other corporate projects.
