Was the administrator for three years of the on-line/web-based Order Entry
System. This was a locally designed and written system using ASP.NET.
Coordinated and was the liaison with the Marketing/business people and the
consulting company, Abeam, who wrote the system. This included working very
closely with all members of the teams and coordinating meetings, change
notices, update schedules and implementation dates.
Worked with many users and customers of TAC. Also worked closely with
outside consultants on IT development projects
Was part of the project team that converted the entire legacy system to a
Baan ERP software system. Baan was developed on a DB2 database. From this
database I had to write queries that were fed into Crystal reports for
reporting as well as Access 2000. We did data dumps using Baan and SL
queries that were feed into Excel files for accounting and projection uses.
Was the Baan DEM (Dynamic Enterprise Modeler) administrator
Worked on Data Warehouse applications using SQL and Access 2000. The data
warehouse application was created on a MS SQL database and data structure.
Created reports from the SQL data base using Crystal reports and Access
2000. Data was also extracted for Excel uses. I also had to maintain the
data base structure as well as add new tables and data fields as required.
Developed and programmed many applications in MS Access 97/2000.
Applications included customer tracking, pricing books, order tracking and
customer quotes. Also designed the databases used in these applications

assisted with diagnosing PC related problems within the department

Designed and implemented systems for the financial and manufacturing
segments of the Aviation division. Assignments varied from maintenance
changes and new development of systems to the installation of a purchased
Master Production Scheduling System. Also designed, wrote, implemented and
maintained on-line programs using IMS DB\DC and DB2.
Project leader for both the analyst and programming efforts on assigned
projects. Responsibilities included program design, sequential file and
database design, estimating of hours for programs and tasks and the
scheduling of programming and analyst resources.
Systems worked include: a purchased Master Production Scheduling System,
scrap reporting, Travel Master Scheduling System, Accounts Payable, Cost
Accounting, General Ledger, Bill of Material, Capacity Planning, Tool and
Gauge and Labor Tracking.
Designed, wrote and tested programs using COBOL, COBOL II, FOCUS and WYLBUR
