WORK Experience
Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems
Project Manager/Facilities Engineer 10/05-08/08
Lead the Design and Construction effort for cutting edge Spherical Near-
field Range and Radar Test Chamber. Initiated and Supervised CFD airflow
analysis for critical cooling of Chamber anechoic material. Initiated and
Supervised Ground Penetrating Radar sweep to locate undocumented
obstructing subsurface utilities in construction area. Managed Yellow Room
Lab Remediation and Restoration Project. Completed Facility Construction
estimate to restore Lab to functioning for Raytheon Insurance Dept.
Coordinated with Raytheon Environmental Health and Safety Dept., as well as
Remediation and Disposal companies to mitigate environmental hazards and
safely dispose of waste. Successfully Completed Project to Relocate Radar
Test Lab 9M08. Successfully completed projects to erect emergency cell
tower and install subsurface fiber optic communications conduits. Proposed
Six Sigma Projects to upgrade to Timberline Facilities Construction
Estimating System with on Screen take-off, and CAD System to Autodesk Revit
MEP for better design and documentation.
LIMBACH FACILITY SERVICES
Project Estimator 9/04- 6/05
Take off of detailed HVAC systems design drawings using a proprietary
digitizing system. Make the output intelligible; break the project down
into sections that are relevant to the way in which the work will actually
progress in the field. Enter equipment and sub contractor costs along with
computer system exceptions into an electronic spreadsheet for the final
estimate and review. Write proposals that state the scope of work as
detailed on the design drawings and specifications, and provide
qualifications and exclusions, which make clear to the buyer what the scope
of work is.

City of Pasadena (Contract)
Construction Inspector 9/02- 12/03
Evaluated construction plans and issued permits on behalf of the City of
Pasadena to Altrio Communications to build an underground fiber optic
network in Pasadena servicing over 20,000 homes. Conducted inspections of
construction sites.
Attraction Services (Contract)
Design Engineer 4/02- 5/02
Sourced hydraulic /mechanical and cooling components for the MDARS
automotive project. Helped improve thermo-dynamic and hydraulic/mechanical
system efficiency through analysis. Used Mechanical Desktop (CAD) to
perform solid modeling of hydraulic and mechanical system components as
well as calculate assembly center of gravity. Conducted finite element
stress analysis of the vehicle frame. Designed the spring and mass damper
configuration of the suspension system. Communicated with vendors and
parent company team members to meet project specifications.
American Pneumatic TOOLS (Contract)
Mechanical Engineer 9/01-10/01
Streamlined manufacturing process and cut manufacturing costs of various
pneumatic tools by over $100,000 annually through material selection and
component redesign. Evaluated product line, and modified/organized
engineering blueprints of various pneumatic tools.
Brooks Automation (Division Closed)
Mechanical Engineer 5/00- 5/01
Used Mechanical Desktop Release 4 and Pro Engineer 2000i 2 to design and
revise designs of small precision electromechanical parts and systems.
Evaluated capabilities of small motors for motion control. Designed
Stainless steel and aluminum sheet metal of support structures. Performed
geometric dimensioning and tolerance calculations and created detailed
blueprints for designs. Was responsible for the test troubleshooting and
inspection of out -going SCS-2000 and SCS-3000 hooded wafer-sorting
machines. Generated electrical interconnect diagrams for current and new
systems. Generated quotes for engineering time and material costs for new
projects. Compiled the document for MTX 4000 (300 mm wafer sorter) Mini-
environment standards. Was part of team who designed the digital macro-
inspection option for the SCS-2000.
Alliedsignal Power Systems (Company sold to Honeywell)
Systems Engineer 4/98 to 2/99
Coordinated with Customers, Hardware Vendors, and Design/ Analysis team on
procurement of rotating machinery and miscellaneous hardware for the
GENERATION 2 AUTOMOTIVE TURBOGENERATOR for RENAULT of France. Performed
inspection, instrumentation and components testing of ATG subsystems using
LABVIEW software in test cell. Completed assembly and inspection of ATG
device from subsystems components. Supervised technicians and on site
hardware fabricators during analysis and repair of ATG device in testing
phase of development. Exposed to various machining and manufacturing
methods for the fabrication of components (spin forming, hydro forming
injection molding etc.). Assisted in the definition of the digital logic
of the ATG control system using LABVIEW, MATLAB and SIMULINK system
simulation software.
