hospital. Coordinated activities of 105 union and non-union employees,
including 4 directors, 9 supervisors and 2 secretaries. Also directed
external support staff such as architects, engineers, designers,
contractors and laborers.
* Developed hospital intranet site for communication of construction
updates and hospital flow changes to employees.
* Helped lead effort that resulted in RWJ-Hamilton winning the Malcolm
Baldrige National Quality Award in November 2004. Award was presented
by Vice President Dick Cheney in Washington, DC July 20, 2005.

union and non-union employees.
* Actively supported Administrations in the planning, coordination,
funding and execution of projects, including construction, relocation
and asset procurement
* Passed 14 JCAHO, HCFA and DOH surveys with no significant

* Wrote entire Environment of Care manual prior to 1995 JCAHO survey.
All departments passed JCAHO with not a single recommendation.
* Saved the hospital $500,000 in capital costs by redesigning mechanical
system overhaul and roof replacement plans in 1995.
* Created new Clinical Engineering Department and developed business
plan. CE had been contained within Plant Operations and Maintenance
Department.
