improvements to milling machines, grinders, and robots. Maintenance activities included

Electrical Engineering Designer: 1996 to 2001

Eta Engineering Consultants, Catlettsburg KY: Design and coordinate installation of electrical

installations, performed estimating function for electrical and instrument upgrades, supervised the

installation of electrical systems in hazardous locations. Designed and installed gas monitoring

systems. Documented all components of existing plant control system including: process

controllers, power distribution, and communication highways. Worked with cross functional

teams on multiple refinery upgrades and expansions.

Purchasing Agent and Safety Director: 1994 to 1996

Metaltec Sheet Metal, Canonsburg, KY: Performed duties as safety director, purchasing

agent, drafter, and assisted in designing of all gas station fascia systems. Responsible for

ordering all project material from prints, tracking of material from distributor to job site,

overseeing quality, and inventory control. Coordinator for all construction environmental and

construction permits. Developed, managed, trained, and enforced company safety program.

Electrical Engineering Designer: 1989 to 1994

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington WV: Responsible for electrical design of control

systems, power distribution, wire ways, conduit routing, cabinet layouts, government facility

upgrades, building electrical systems, electrical conduit routings, volt drop calculations, and

breaker sizing.
