. Successfully accomplished the followings during the 6-month contract
period:
o Hired 87 employees from Symyx including 15 staff in the East Coast. Set
up payroll service and put in place all benefit plans immediately
following the divestiture.
o Set up subsidiaries in 3 European countries included hiring 5 EU
employees, set up payroll service, benefit and pension plans as mandated
by local regulations.
o Conducted HR due diligence when Freeslate acquires a small business unit
of Johnson & Johnson and then integrated this unit into the organization.
o Put in place HR infrastructure: set up an HRIS, created an employee
handbook, policies and processes.
