Technical Skills

. Solid understanding of RF/analog circuit and RF basics, including S-

parameter design.

. Excellent hands-on experience in RF circuit and module design, analysis

and evaluation.

. Fluent operation of test & measurement equipment, including spectrum

analyzer, network analyzer, VSA, power meter, oscilloscope, signal

generator, and test accessories such as power divider/combiner, coupler,

switch unit, attenuator, filter, power detector and etc.

. Fluent operation of Ansoft Designer, ADS, Microwave Office and so on.

. Capability of layout placement/routing design in PCB/Module.

TRDA Inc, San Diego, California RF Engineer 04/2007 - 05/2009

. Designed and developed WiMAX front-end module (FEM) and full module on

PCB/LTCC associated with circuit/electromagnetic simulation and

analysis.

. Evaluated RF/analog components and RF/analog modules, including RFIC,

MMIC, analog IC, and other active/passive RF components with or without

evaluation boards as the circumstance dictates.

. Tuned FEM RF performance, matching RF input/output.

. Designed RF block diagrams and schematics for modules.

. Developed RF specifications and designed evaluation boards/modules based

on system

reference designs.

. Designed filters in LTCC substrate.

. Resolved critical/complex technical problems

Nortel Networks, Ottawa, Canada RF Engineer 06/1999 - 04/2003

. Worked on RF IC and module products (testing and measurement), those

products include

transmitter IC/module, receiver IC/module, SAW filters for PCS/DCS

wireless systems.

. Worked with senior design engineers for all design verification tests,

calibrating, matching, RF performances tuning, and debugged all design

and test issues.

. Completed analysis for all testing data, finished test reports, helped to

improve the yield.

. Participated in the technical meetings with different groups on a weekly

basis and reported highlights, issues, solutions, and plans.

. Captured module schematics and package schematics in AutoCAD.

. Proficient in RF simulation tools and RF test instrument, familiar with

RF matching and tuning.

. Supported these products for the manufacture, debugged all issues from

customers.
