OBJECTIVE: To secure a position with a company that will utilize my
education in Chemistry and Mathematics and my work
experiences that I have accumulated.

Bachelor of Science awarded May 2009.
Major: Chemistry Minor: Mathematics
GPA: 3.05 / 4.0
SR. PROJECT: Pharmaceuticals and Personal Care Products in Residential
Water
. There were speculations in local newspapers of toxins in
residential (faucet) water. I analyzed the faucet water from
my home.
. The water sample was placed in a separatory funnel using
dichloromethane to extract the organic layer. The extract was
then placed in the TurboVap to dry the extract down to 1-mL.
The water sample was analyzed using the Gas Chromatography-
Mass Spectrophotometer.
. There were 200 different compounds identified in the sample by GC-
MS screening. Most of the compounds identified can be found
in shampoos, soaps and toothpaste.
TECH. SKILLS: . Proficient with various Spectroscopic tools used at
NASA/MSFC.
. Educated of various chemical techniques designed for NASA
operations.
