SPRINT- :Sprint Data Warehouse (June 08-till dt)

Project : Revenue Reporting

Role : QA Analyst

Description :

Sprint's billing is processed by Amdocs billing system Ensemble.

Finance Group at Sprint needs to perform revenue analysis by Sprint's

defined parameters. The revenue reporting process mergers the revenue data

received from Ensemble with finance defined metrics at Sprint.

Local charge and adjustment data snapshot is created for every cycle from

Ensemble, which is around 36TB.

This Process reports charges and adjustments billing for Sprint

subscribers, based on the Subscriber billing cycle and Ban. The charges

and adjustments for a billing cycle is processed based on the customized

finance defined metrics, which is sumarized and finally entered into the

general ledger revenue reporting process as the output data.

Environment: Oracle 8i, Unix HP,korn shell,SQL,PL/SQL,Business Objects,

Auto Sys (SchedulingTool), SQL Loader,JSP,XML

Responsibilities:

. Analyzed the Business requirements to validate the data and basic

functionality.

. Conducted Business Meetings and testing walk thru to finalize the testing

requirements.

. Prepared Test Plan and Test Cases based on the different scenarios.

. Prepared the Test data from the Flat files by converting the Flat files

into records.

. Analyzed the test data and prepared the SQL queries and procedures for
