QUALIFICATIONS
Estimating, making pre-press and bindery schedules, keeping machinery under
maintenance schedules, purchasing: outside printing, bindery, stock, ink and anything
that pertains to printing. Getting presses fixed, quickly! I’ve worked with both web
presses and with sheet fed presses and Halm jet presses. I’ve produced everything from
business cards to 6/6 rolls of personalized web forms.
EDUCATION
1970-1973 City College of New York - Thirty-seven credits in Graphic Arts
1967-1970 New York School of Printing, graduating second in the class.
2001-2004 President of Morgraphix ( A print brokerage ) Which was owned, run and
operated by myself. Primary job was to estimate the print job, using my sources for, Prep,
finding the least expensive and correct printer for the job, purchasing the stock from the
Paper Company, and then finding the correct bindery to complete the job.

Having total contact with customer to understand the job and the jobs qualifications,
estimating the job from beginning to end (even delivery is very important).Schedule the
press time, writing up the order, purchasing all necessary supplies for shop. Equipment:
