WORK EXPERIENCE
. Delegate work assignments on a daily and weekly basis, such as
counting and verifying incoming materials per purchase order
requirements, storing incoming materials/product in assigned
areas, cleaning and organizing warehouse, distribution areas,
shipping/receiving dock, pallets and bin storage areas.
. Responsible for creating work schedule for hourly warehouse
employees to best fit the needs of the company as well as
eliminate/minimizing over time hours.
. Supervise warehouse personnel on daily activities such as pulling
orders, verify items and counts for all outgoing orders in a
timely manner.
. Responsible for conducting cycle counts daily to correct inventory
that was due to wrong items received, pulling errors, items
labeled with wrong part numbers and items in wrong locations.
. Run open purchase order listing daily and contact vendors to
expedite orders that are past due for customer back order and
stock.
. Oversee and coordinate distribution and warehousing in accordance with
policies, principle and procedures established by Branch Manager in
order to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
. Actively participate in product knowledge classes to advance
ongoing product understanding and knowledge.
. Provide leadership, guidance and strong problem solving skills in
order to maintain cultural environment that supports the company
objectives, values, and briefs.
. Have a thorough understanding of ORCO'S products along with their
applications, costs and availabilities in order to provide
exceptional customer service.
. Responsible for receiving incoming shipments and checking for
damage or shortages reported differences between amounts indicated
on the receiving report and amounts received any discrepancies are
reported to Purchasing department, vendors and Branch Manager.
. Operated Forklift and mechanical pallet jacks.
