. Leadership: Organize and lead 22 analysts across Vail's three business
segments in all facets of budgeting, forecasting and analysis. Results:

. FP&A Process Design: Rebuilt core FP&A processes and reporting after
Vail moved its corporate office from Avon to Broomfield in late 2006.
. Forecasting & Analysis: Lead monthly forecasting and related analysis.
Identified and tracked cost reductions that allowed Vail to favorably
mitigate unfavorable economic conditions in 2008 and 2009.
. Systems and Software: Led major implementations including PeopleSoft
Daily forecasting, Hyperion Strategic Finance and improvements to the
existing PeopleSoft nVision software. Enhanced system capability,
allowing Vail to manage daily labor expenses, with changes in daily
revenue, more effectively.
. Capital Budgeting: Redesigned capital submission process that resulted
in lowered overall spend and over 90% of CY'10 projects delivering
results above the target hurdle rate.

2007
Program Manager, Business Operations
Directed business operations, strategic planning and reporting for
VeriSign's $400M Information Services (VIS) business unit. Led a team of
three that was responsible for quarterly operations reviews, annual
budgeting and annual strategic planning.
. Strategy: Led a team that overhauled the VIS strategic plan. We
broadened VIS's current business portfolio and established two new areas
of growth.
. Finance Operations & Process: Developed standard pricing guidelines and
a discount policy for new products added through VIS business expansion.
. M&A: Conducted the analysis and valuation for several potential
acquisition targets and eventual acquisition of an IT Consulting Services
Company. Upon acquisition, assisted with the company's integration into
VeriSign.
. Presentations / Public Speaking: Directed internal and external
operational and financial communications for VIS including: Analyst Day
presentations, Board of Directors presentations and all internal
divisional meetings.
. Systems & Software: Managed plan to centralize VIS's critical financial
and operational data (including the .com and .net registry). Won
approval for a $1M data warehouse solution and managed the project's
implementation.

Led all business analysis, reporting and strategic reviews for Level (3)'s
$125M Voice-over-IP (VoIP) business.
. Financial Analysis: Served as the finance lead on a Voice product
reorganization that resulted in a 44% Gross Margin improvement and
increased Contribution Margin from ($20M) negative to $3M positive over a
12-month period.
. Innovation: Researched and developed business models for six new VoIP

. Systems & Software: Designed an automated tool to measure daily
