Masters Project
Developed in C#, WinControl allows a user
to log into a remote Windows machine over a TCP/IP connection and allows
him/her to remotely diagnose, troubleshoot, and manage the remote
machine. Once connected, the user may remotely manage the running
processes, remotely install software,
remotely shutdown/restart the remote host, remotely start a process or
open a webpage, remotely log any keys typed in the remote host,
remotely manage the file system or the autostart registry, retrieve a
list of the installed hardware/software on the remote host,
retrieve system information about the remote host, retrieve a
screenshot, and communicate with the current user in the remote host.
Android Project
Worked as part of a team that developed a Java application for the
Google G1 Phone.
For this project we used the Eclipse IDE and the Google Android SDK.
This application used the phone's embedded GPS functionality to connect
to a MS SQL database and report the current global position. This was
then read by an ASP .Net application running on a Microsoft web server
and used the Google Maps API to map the phone's trajectory
chronologically by tracing a line on a map of the US with the position
information contained within the MS SQL database.
