Upon the rank of Sergeant I became a squad leader of a 9-man team and lead them into combat in
Afghanistan for 8 months with Infantry tactics.
Upon the rank of Specialist I was the driver, gunner and RTO for the C troop Commander, while
p roviding security for him and myself in a two-man team.
Upon the rank of Private First Class I was a gunner for the 2nd Platoon of C Troop.
