maintenance and all launch planning; budget planning and management;
monitor unsubscribe/bounce/complaint rates and ensure spam regulation
compliance; email vendor analysis and selection
Overview
As email Marketing Manager, I run all email programs for Jigsaw's member
campaigns, from conception to post-launch analysis, including copywriting,
creative direction, HTML coding, and list selection and segmentation. This
includes identifying, testing and implementing new email programs to
increase user activity and lead generation. Examples of efforts I've led
include moving away from batch and blast campaigns by defining key user
segments, their needs and interests, and developing campaigns based on
these finding. I've focused testing and optimization efforts on copy, such
as subject lines and content, as well as layout and creative design to
maximize results. I've also significantly expanded the reengagement
program, moving from one generalized touch-point to a multi-stage approach
based on past user activity. Additional programs I run include monthly
newsletters, webinars, transactional messaging and extensive activity-based
triggered campaigns. I've also developed quarterly benchmarks which I've
consistently exceeded. Working closely internally with Product and
Engineering and externally with several email vendors, planning both long
and short term to meet and exceed business goals.
Responsys On-demand email marketing and cross-channel campaign management
solutions San Francisco, CA
Associate Client Consultant June '08 - October '09
Key Job Functions
. Project management, budget management, strategic guidance, team
leadership, customer service, quality assurance, list segmentation,
campaign management, copywriting, contract development, management of life-
cycle marketing programs, database management
Overview
Managed an average of eight to ten clients, working on 15 to 20 projects at
any given time. With project budgets ranging from $5,000 to $500,000,
ensured accounts were running smoothly, profitably and on- or under-
budget. My role was to act not only as a Responsys representative, but also
as client advocate; gaining intimate business knowledge of my clients,
managing client relationships and representing the client's point of view
and concerns. To do so, I examined business requirements, identified the
needs and scope of programs - including resource allocation and project
costs - and ensured that quality exceeded client expectations and industry
standards. Doing so also required I manage an internal team against
immediate short-term projects and campaigns, with an understanding of long-
term planning requirements and business goals. From a strategic standpoint,
I provided key email performance indicators and guidance, identifying
opportunities for optimizing results pre-launch and providing suggestions
based on performance post-launch.

intelligence research, copywriting, database management, website updates,

in the Palo Alto and San Francisco offices of K&L Gates. In this capacity,
I collaborated with lawyers and the firm's internal departments to develop
and coordinate preparation and distribution of various marketing collateral
and communications. In a business development function, I worked to create
many successful RFPs, pitches and presentations. With K&L Gates then recent

physician community. The Bariatric Program, more commonly known as gastric
bypass, was in its infancy when I joined El Camino and I had an active role
in its growth. To increase market awareness, I created competitive
