Disaster Recovery Solutions Consultant
This position required creating DR Solutions tailored to meet the
organizations recovery objectives. Upon completion of the recovery
solution, the information was then placed in a cost model that would
detail 5 years of TCO information for the application. This position
required coordination and information gathering with the applications
subject mater experts from the various business information organizations
along with coordinating installations to follow KP-IT's technical
infrastructure.

Advisory IT Architect
The key function of this position was project management supporting
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery services. Primary duties were
the creation and validation of BCP & DR plans for various companies across
the US and Canada. If a DR solution was not in place the creation of a
recovery solution tailored to meet the recovery objectives that were
generally outlined in a BIA. This position required creating and
maintaining a strategic partnership with business leaders to strategize,
define and implement needed BCP & DR plans and recovery methodologies to
effectively protect IT systems/infrastructure supporting the Company.
These recovery plans can be for a single critical application to
recovering an entire data center. Application testing of a large SAP
installation was a project required on several occasions. The SAP
installation verification included interface testing from various external
and internal sources as well coordinating the activities of the SAP basis
team for the recovery test effort. Project management methodology is
closely following in planning/executing an exercise of the disaster
recovery plans.

act many business units were obligated to implement DR/BCP strategies and

consisted of migration the email facilities for 7700 users in various
studio facilities located all across the US and Canada. This project
required extensive coordination with multiple business units and
support teams across the entire Disney Organization. The project was
completed on time and on budget. This included the coordination and
scheduling with multiple business units and their executives.
. Co-Managed the server consolidation project for Studio IT. Personally
responsible for managing the relocation activities of 50+ servers to
the IPNS West data center from various Studio locations.
. Team leader in the migration of Novell based file and print to the
Corporate IT based MS file servers.
