Human Resources Support Representative (06/08 - 08/10)
Reported to Sr. Vice President/General Manager, Engineering Services
Department, and was responsible for providing employee relations support
for 394 employees across 22 sites. Developed and improved supportive
relationships with employees and supervisors using exemplary customer
service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Answered team members'
questions and assisted in resolving employment issues in professional,
helpful manner. Familiar with company policies, employment law, and Human
Resources areas including recruiting, benefits, compensation, performance
appraisal, leaves of absence, worker's compensation, training, discipline,
ethics, etc. Created, maintained, and tracked job requisitions in applicant
tracking systems (APTRAK and Taleo), and posted advertisements on third
