Professional Accomplishments
. Developed and automated data converting protocols to assist new
clients migrate historical data. New and potential clients had to
maintain historical data on different platforms and/or software for
portfolio management purposes; this meant added costs and low data
integrity. Conversion protocols helped new clients carry over their
historical data, making for a smoother transition to the new
generation software. Result: Increased sales and flexibility of data.
. Established a full scale internal and external software support system
for a new software product. Client technical support issues were being
passed to the software developers with little follow up. I was
assigned by management to establish a support system. The final result
was an integrated system consisting of a help desk, knowledge base,
procedures, newsletter and online form for users to report issues.
Result: Improved company image and client satisfaction.
. Piloted an annuity tracking system for money managers. Used personal
research as a spring-board for developing a system to monitor the
value and performance of clients' annuities which were previously
unattended. The reports produced included detailed information such as
performance, yield and distribution. Result: System was used as a
basis for a new product marketed by the company.
