Notes and/or Comments
I worked 31 years with Georgia Pacific LLC (only job since high school). I
started as a relief operator, learned to weld & cut metal, operate heavy
equipment (966-F, 950-F, 980,IT-18, 910 Caterpillar log and front-end
loaders as well as other types such as Kawasaki etc. ), drove trucks and
tractors on site, all kinds of maintenance work and line equipment, was a
lead person for 20 years and a supervisor for nine years, worked on
electrical and PLC components, also worked with hydraulic and pneumatic
equipment and components, worked with word, excel, PowerPoint, mp2
maintenance software, and other computer software, often traveled to other
work sites throughout the south and northeast to study and report back new
and better technologies. Was laid off due to the bad economy and later
called back (approximately 5 months later) and was told my job position was
eliminated, during the time in between I attended Sandersville Technical
College for eight weeks and received my Commercial Truck Driving Diploma in
September 2009,
Since then I have been working as a carpenter!
