Inglewood, California Dispatcher/Supervisor

As a dispatcher for a lost luggage delivery service at LAX, I collect bags

from the Baggage Service Offices of several different airlines. Other

duties include general office tasks such as filing, sending/receiving

faxes, making copies, scanning, receiving/sending emails, using Excel

spreadsheets, heavy phone activity, and using several different internet

browsers on a daily basis. I also supervise the delivery and sweep drivers

on my shift, these duties are as follows: setting up delivery routes,

contacting drivers, ensuring all bags match all of the paperwork for the

routes, and following up with the drivers while on their routes. I also

close the business at the end of my shift, which includes doing a closing

log that accounts for all bags remaining in the warehouse, and assure the

office is ready for the start of business for the following day.
