• In this position I am responsible for desktop and laptop setup, routine maintenance, relocation, as well as
diagnosing and resolving technical problems. I maintain and troubleshoot any Active Directory issues,
also add, delete and modify object in AD. I also maintain our Microsoft 2010 exchange server, create
users mailboxes and distribution list as needed. Maintain all the printer and print server.
Responsibilities include audio/visual equipment maintenance, trouble shooting, meeting preparation, and
user training. This position is also responsible for various areas of surplus asset management, as well as the
maintenance and updates of the ticketing system and knowledge base and as needed for other special

Desktop Technician III
• In the Desktop Technician III (DTIII) position I was one of the senior level position in the Desktop Group.
In this position I was responsible for all technical needs within the most complex and high-demand
departments, sites, and areas supported by IT in the Sutter Health Valley Hospitals. This includes all
hardware and software maintenance, repairs, installations, and other technical duties which primarily took
place within customer departments and at remote sites and campuses. As DTIII I regularly consulted and
worked with the Desktop Supervisor, Server Engineers, Network Engineers, and Applications Analysts on
large projects and complex issues. I had daily interaction with multiple facilities, projects, co-workers, and
end-users as required. I adherence to departmental and Desktop Group polices, directives, objectives, and
procedures. The scope of my position covered all Desktop Technician III level activity for the Sutter Health
Central Valley Service Area (CVSA). The CVSA is comprised of four affiliate organizations with four major
campuses and 20 satellites. There are approximately 7000 users and 2000 desktops in the CVSA.
