ROFESSIONAL XPERIENCE
Amazon.com [Seattle, WA] 12/06 – 9/09
Associate Instock Manager
This position was working for the Music and Movies departments and focused on the receipt and inventory
maintenance of CDs and DVDs. Receipt errors, times and quality issues were resolved, measured and
presented to the vendors by myself, and included all major movie studios. Chargebacks, returns and specific
QA issues would eventually take up the bulk of my time and effort, especially new initiatives in resolving item
performance issues post sale.
As EDI and technical teams were largely sequestered, I was the contact for vendors wishing to implement new
EDI documents, make changes to existing ones or to answer questions about what options were available.
London Fog Industries [Seattle, WA] 12/99 – 6/06
EDI Coordinator 9/03 – 6/06
In this position I processed incoming and outgoing EDI transmissions, primarily 810, 812, 820, 846, 850, 852,
855 and 864 documents for a national clothing manufacturer. This included new set ups with retailers, UPC
catalog maintenance, error correction and processing often manual customizations required to process files
into the merchandise management system. For 18 months I was the sole EDI contact. For the remaining 15, I
worked with a small team, though was responsible for all day to day operations.
Retailers included Federated Stores, Amazon.com and Wal Mart, the latter two requiring me to implement new
EDI connections, including our first ever AS2 connection with Wal Mart.
Retail Business Analyst 5/00 8/03
This position revolved around inventory for the outlet stores department of a national clothing manufacturer,
and focused on inventory levels, chargebacks, item maintenance and data accuracy. This included new system
set up, large amounts of reporting and constant data checking and error adjustments. As the company was
seasonal and had yearly stock updates, setting and maintaining new skus was a constant concern.
Distributor 12/99 – 4/00
This position was primarily order processing but evolved into a full time Business Analyst position.
Northern Life Insurance [Seattle, WA] 9/98 – 11/99
Premium Processing Rep (Temp)
Primarily a data processing position, after a new processing interface was introduced, my ability to quickly pick
up the new system resulted in me being sent to North Dakota to train our replacements when the processing
center was relocated.
