Owner Operator of small woodworking shop that designs, builds and installs
furniture, entertainment centers, built-ins and finish carpentry including
doors, windows, baseboard, crown molding and wainscot.
Praja Inc. (July 2000 - Nov 2000)
Pre-IPO Company, hired as an Application Content Developer. My role with
the company was diverse, as part of the development team, I assumed the
role of troubleshooter. Constantly tasked with finding solutions to
problems that seemed out of reach. Using JavaScript, DHTML and JSP
technology, we as a team were able to build an application platform that
has a client base that covers over 100 million users. Developed web sites
for numerous customers around the world as well as corporate site.
LPL Financial Services (April 1999 - July 2000)
Contracted by LPL to develop a Strategic Interactive Investment
presentation that will be used by financial planers as a tool to market the
various investment plans of LPL. This presentation is ran on a standalone
client PC or laptops, using an internal web server and IE 4.0 software. We
built this presentation on a platform of HTML, DHTML, JavaScript and Java
1.2 technology. This contract was placed in agreement April 1999 and was
extended in August 1999 through August 2000.
SAIC Corp. (September 1996 - March 1999)
Under general supervision oversee the installation of hardware and software
of the Data Innovations Instrument Interface System; this includes routers,
hubs, terminal servers and laboratory analyzers. Leads troubleshooting of
LAN/WAN communications operations. Performs system analysis, integration
and support of new interfaces and products. Primary developer of the DII
HCTG Web site and responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and modification
of all DII related material posted to site. While at ICTG, I was
responsible for the ADNS, TSAS, and DMS web sites; this included the
management of over 300 pages of data, 4 Access Database's and over 25 Perl
scripts.
Senior Practicing Engineer, NSIPS Program. Responsible for the
implementation, testing of practical applications that replace Personnel
Legacy Systems at the US Navy Personnel Support Activities. Perform
install, set-up, testing and troubleshooting of NT based servers and
workstations at all locations under the control of WEST CONUS Personnel
Support Activities. Duties involve Site Surveys, Site Design, System
Engineering, network configuration and implementation, and logistics for
each location targeted for NSIPS Applications.
Field Service Supervisor, DMS Team. Responsible for assisting in the
implementation, installation, and configuration of DMS systems for West
CONUS Navy sites. Team member of group responsible for the development and
build-up of the NRAD/SPAWAR PSF Project. Performs site surveys for the
BLII/DMS Programs at West CONUS Navy installations.
Vanstar Corporation (October 1995 - September 1996)
Service Manager, Lead Senior Field Engineer. Supervisor of four Field
Service Technicians. Primary duties and responsibilities include system
configuration, install and upkeep of all office servers and workstations,
customer relations, hardware logistics, job tasking and implementation.
Responsible for the installation, set-up, and repair of computer products
and peripherals using different types of test equipment and documents.
Service included both hardware and software configuration, including
printers, plotters, servers, networking products, and all manufactures
types of computers currently under contractual agreement with Vanstar
customers.
Intergraph Corporation (July 1990 - October 1995)
Field Engineer. Resident Systems engineer at San Diego Data Processing,
Systems Administrator San Diego Branch. Responsibilities included the
design, installation, set-up and configuration on all San Diego domain NT
and UNIX servers and workstations. Maintain, review, and verify technical
document and manual library. Implement all scheduled and non-scheduled
service and maintenance. Maintain software and hardware on all
workstations, servers, plotters and peripherals currently under contract
with Intergraph. Responsible for up to 16 different customer sites with a
broad range of applications and environments.
U.S. Navy (March 1982 - June 1990)
Aviation Electronics Technician. Crypto-data Programmer. Computer System
Service Technician. Assigned to Airborne Anti-Submarine Squadrons tasked
with the isolation and repair of 17 S-3A, airborne avionics and computer
systems using various test equipment and procedures necessary for mission
capable aircraft. Shift supervisor and crew team leader in charge of 15+
Avionics Technicians. Responsibilities included flight scheduling of
avionics mission aircraft, MSDS Officer, Quality Assurance Technical
Document librarian, tasking and job implementation to all subordinates, non-
designated Aircrew which repair down S-3 aircraft in CONUS.
