controls to monitor and control access into the facility. I filled out daily activity reports,
and
incident reports. I provided a visible deterrent to crime, while protecting company
employees and property. I maintained a professional appearance, and a command

• California Army National Guard
California Army National Guard/SGT 2004 - Current
I am responsible for providing religious support to the soldiers in my unit. I am also
responsible for providing force protection for the UMT (Unit Ministry Team). In short, it
is my responsibility to protect the Chaplain from harm at all times. I am also responsible
for all the UMT administrative items. I request, dispatch, clean, fuel, pre-trip, and post-
trip the assigned UMT vehicle. I organize all UMT missions by submitting all necessary
paperwork and necessary coordination to complete the mission. I have been the NCOIC
(Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge) of several convoys. I give safety briefs, and use
CRM (Composite Risk Management) as a tool for implementing safety measures. I keep
the Chaplain’s itinerary organized, and I brief him each morning for the day’s mission. I
request buses for trips, the DFAC VIP room for meetings, and all other items needed to
complete any mission. I lead remedial PT (Physical Training) once a week for 6 soldiers
to help them pass their PT test. I am weapons qualified, and I am familiar with weapons
safety and basic marksmanship skills. I am also a qualified Combat Life Saver (CLS). I
recently completed WLC (Warrior Leader Course). I currently hold a Secret Clearance.
