Project Development of an Audio Framework that can decode different

Descriptio encoded audio streams such as DTS, MPEG, Dobly Digital, WMA

n using the appropriate decoders. Also involves development and

integration of post-processing modules such as sample rate

converter, bass-manager and down-mixer. The Audio Framework is

split across three DSP processors which communicate with each

other through hardware interrupts.

Contributi Designed and implemented the audio framework that runs on one

on among the three DSP processors.

Designed and implemented the RAM Audio input module.

Integrated the MP3, BDLPCM, DVDLPCM,DTS-Core and WMA

decoders.

Awards "Special Mention" certificate awarded at the Sasken Quarterly

Business Meet June 2008 for the efforts put in for the timely

implementation of the project.

Product Audio Framework is part of two versions of a BD-ROM player

(BDP-S350 and BDP-S550) that was launched by Sony in July

2008.

Description profile on NECEL's SPXK6 platform.

Contributio Implemented the error handling module to enable the decoder

erroneous.

interface to suit customer requirements.
