Managed program threads of Enterprise Data Management, RICE development,
and performance test for Sun Microsystems business transformation
initiative to replace 800+ legacy systems with a global phased roll-out of
Oracle EBS. Responsible for the strategy and execution of Data Governance
to measure, monitor and sustain data quality on an ongoing basis. Advised
on industry best practices and guidelines around test architecture
framework to leverage HP Quality Center for automated and repeatable
testing.
As Technology Program Manager at TVA, led the enablement of enterprise wide
business transformation program with the goal of adopting industry best
practices set of business processes across all facilities to improve
productivity and reduce operating costs. The solution set included Maximo
for asset and work management, Oracle EBS for financials management and
Tibco as the integration layer.
As Program Manager at Nationwide Insurance, instituted and drove adoption
of the Integration Competency Center to migrate from mainframe based policy
processing systems to SOA based IT platform. Key tenets included a self
sustaining Funding Model by increasing corporate IT awareness on the value
proposition of Enterprise Architecture standards, Common Data Models
leveraging ACORD, Operations and Governance Model towards managing reusable
services for consistent information flow across core business processes
such as claims and underwriting.
As Program Manager, led a diverse team of over 100 resources to outsource
Agilent's IT support organization by leveraging Deloitte's Extended
Delivery Model at the offshore center in Mumbai, India. Worked with client
Sr. Executives to define the organizational structure, facilities,
operational Service Level Agreements, Standard Operating Procedures,
technology infrastructure, resources and skills. Took primary
responsibility for support center operations QA to meet CMM Level 5
standards.
As Project Manager at Constellation Energy, led over 30 resources to
realize the vision of a consolidated generation fleet by implementing
Maximo EAM. Responsible for overall delivery of the technology solution to
standardize business processes to be enabled by a common platform,
replacing multiple legacy systems and integrating with other corporate
applications (Oracle EBS, Primavera) through Tibco.
As Project Manager, led over 40 resources in the EAI team during full
lifecycle implementation of ERP (Oracle, SAP) and CRM (Siebel) systems for
Agilent's Services and Support division. Project management
responsibilities included client relationship management, work estimation,
resource staffing and status reporting. Technical responsibilities included
overall solution QA, methodology development, and supervision of
architecture, design, development, test scripts, expected results
verification, issue tracking, and resolution. Coordinated the global
rollout of Tibco infrastructure and enterprise application components in
the US, Europe and APAC regions.
As Project Manager at Ceridian, led the architecture of a flexible,
reliable and scalable core services IT infrastructure as a foundation to
enable integrated HRMS product offerings. Led a diverse team of business
and IT resources to gather requirements, conduct SOA vendor assessment and
product selection, and drive adoption at strategic projects across the
enterprise with a shared service model to achieve cost reduction.
As Lead Architect at Iomega, defined roadmap for EAI strategy inception and
execution to build a Tibco based integration framework. The underlying
criterion was to shape an EAI vision that will provide ROI through reducing
cost, creating value and competitive differentiation.
As Lead EAI Architect, owned primary responsibility for setting
architecture guidelines, design and code QA for over 70 Tibco interfaces
during global Oracle ERP implementation (18 months) for Agilent's
manufacturing division. Led cross-functional teams to facilitate issue
resolution across business/application/integration teams, direct
development tasks, and coordinate testing by validating test cases setup,
and synchronizing release schedules, environment availability.
As Lead Oracle ERP expert in the Middleware team, advised on Oracle
architecture and functionality for Tibco Middleware solutions. Played a
major role in the evolution of Tibco's beta product - Oracle ERP Adapter by
defining Agilent's business requirements for various interfaces and
translating them technically to be realized via Tibco suite of products.
Defined canonical model for key data elements using OAGIS Business Object
Definitions to leverage publish-subscribe architecture.
