Make Ready:

Ready Station. This involved opening
and closing mail files, scanning mail
pieces with a hand-held scanner, and

I performed a variety of clerk duties

processing equipment or manual

made one or more sortation of outgoing
and/or incoming mail using the
appropriate sort program or manual
distribution scheme. On a rotating
basis, I performed all of the following
duties: Loaded mail onto automated
equipment culling out non-processable
items, entered sort plan and started
equipment, monitored flow of mail to
ensure continuous feed, swept
separated mail from bins/stackers,
stopped equipment when distribution
run or operation was completed, ran
machine reports, cleared jams,
contacted Electronics Technicians for
assistance when required, prepared

support equipment and materials,

I performed a variety of tasks for the
United States Postal Service including
sorting and distribution of Outgoing
Primary Mail, Certified Mail, Firm Mail,
Box Mail, SCF Mail (Sectional Facility
Mail-for approximately 125 Associate
Offices). Worked on Parcel Post.
Learned a 1,000 item scheme. Worked
on the Flat Sorting Machine sorting and
distributing several different schemes.

I was the secretary for five (5) people;
three Child Support Investigators, The
Coordinator of the Child Support
Collection Unit, and the District
Attorney of Herkimer County. I worked
on the computer inputting as well as
retrieving client information. I prepared
various types of documents, letters,
forms, etc. I dealt with the public on a
daily basis, as I collected child support
payments from the clients. I took
dictation and transcribed same from the
District Attorney of Herkimer County. I
answered the telephones on a daily
basis.
Mohawk Valley Nursing Home:
4/1985-4/1987
Typist:
I worked in the Central Supply Unit of
the Mohawk Valley Nursing Home. I
performed a variety of job tasks
including clerical duties as well as
filling out inventory supply orders for
the nurses on several floors. I devised
a plan to make the process of
completing an Inventory Supply
Request quicker and more efficient than
the previous system.

I worked in the Cash Office of the Utica
Psychiatric Center. I input patient

retrieved patient information. I cashed
out various cash registers located on
campus (Fashion Store, Coffee Shop,
Community Store, etc.). I handled large
