Construction Laborer
SC Steel Erectors, Inc., Rincon, GA; (summer jobs in 2008 & 2010)
. Perform tasks involving physical labor building a four story warehouse
and gas stations.
. Apply caulking compounds by hand or using caulking guns.
. Build and dismantle forms, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts.
. Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
. Erect and disassemble rack, scaffolding, braces, ramps, and other
temporary structures.
. Grind, scrape and sand surfaces such as metal, wood, flooring, using
abrasive tools/machines.
. Load, unload, and identify materials and distribute to appropriate
locations, according to project plans and specifications.
. Measure and mark openings and distances to lay out areas where work is
performed.
Food Service
Subway - Pooler, GA; (after school, nights & weekends 2010)
. Make and maintain food products in accordance with health regulations
and company standards.
. Operate all assigned equipment (cash register, etc.) safely and
efficiently.
. Responsible for closing and lock up during evening shifts.
