Resume:

Over thirty years construction inspection experience with knowledge of all

phases of heavy highway construction including earthwork, paving (both

concrete and asphalt), drainage, utilities, structure, and electrical

(signals, lights, and signs). I have a background that also includes work

on new and upgraded wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, sewer and

water line projects and civil and electrical/construction management at two

major airports. I am well versed in the Green Book, safe working

conditions, traffic controls and all the paperwork required. I am certified

by AQMI on fugitive dust control and competent person on ditch safety.

I can enforce SWPPP, with several courses and certified.

Project Experience

Chief Inspector, City of Palm Desert, CA, - Assessment District for BERG

ASSOCIATES; Inspected the grading operations, sewer and water lines,

drainage, including 84" RCP, paving operations and signal lights. Attend

the owners meeting each week, approved pay estimates and paperwork

required. Two year project

Construction Inspector, City of La Quinta, for TRI LAKE CONSULTANTS: Public

works inspector on over twenty projects. Observed water line installations,

sewer line, and drainage, paving both asphalt and concrete.

Senior Civil Inspector, VAN BUSKIRK PHASE II - Las Vegas, NV on Clark

County Flood Control project: This $3.5 million dollars project includes

almost 6,000 feet of double eight by eight reinforced concrete boxes with

structures.

Civil Inspector, CALV1NE Road Interchange, CALTRANS Project, Sacramento,

CA: on $9.6 million dollars project with utilities, drainage, streetlights,

signals and signs.

Electrical Inspector, Richmond Parkway, SECTION 1&2 and 5, built by

CALTRANS specifications, Richmond, CA: on a 45 mph parkway with over 200

street lights, 8 signalized intersections, 2 bridges, and lighted overhead

signs. This project was built to Caltrans specifications.

Civil/Electrical Inspector, CALTRANS Project, 1-215, MORENA VALLEY, CA: on

a 5-mile long relocation of six lane interstate highway. Project included 3

major interchanges, the first "urban interchange built in California. My

duties included inspection of drainage, grading, sewer lines, flexible

base, edge drains, permeable base, and asphalt paving. I also inspected 6

major signalized intersections, over 80 highway lights, including 5 high-

mast installations, and all the interstate signs. I calculated pay

estimates and reviewed and approved submittals.

Lead Civil Inspector, Denver International Airport: on runway construction

for one year. One of the first inspectors hired to observe cut and fill

operations on the runway and taxiways.

Lead Civil Inspector, Dallas/FT - Worth International Airport: for several

major construction projects within airport operations area. Supervised

other inspectors and technicians for over three years. Worked on the

American Airlines baggage terminal and UPS warehouse.

Construction Inspector, TEXAS HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT: for several projects in

the Dallas, Texas area,

Including I-35 from Denton, Texas to Ft. Worth.
