Senior QA Analyst

The Online Business Solutions (OBS) group delivers and supports two of Capital One’s key

eCommerce .Net applications Online Banking (OLB) and Online Account Opening (OAO).

OLB provides business solutions for financial banking and payment systems: Account Register,

Bill Payments, Monetary Transfers (Internal and External), Consumer Alerts, Self-Service, User

Security/Authentication, Pay CapOne and Smartswitch. The OAO web application is built

alongside the Capital One Online Banking (OLB) web site, and will provide the following key

functionality: Allow new or existing customers to apply for and open one or many Capital One

accounts online.

Responsibilities:

• Develop test Strategies and manage testing efforts across Capital One’s E-Commerce

Platforms, following Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies of SDLC.

• Create large scale testing scenarios, covering all core functionality within the platform.

• Review functional and technical documentation in order to identify requirements for the

creation of test plans, test strategy and test cases.

• Conduct test case reviews to ensure scenarios accurately capture business functionality;

Review test coverage matrix.

Safety(TxDPS) to provide improved levels of service by using the TexasOnline (TOL) system to :

automate the collection of safety inspection data from the stations; automate the process of

selling inspection certificates to the inspection stations; issue and renew station and inspector

licenses; incorporate fund processing into the existing TOL/TxDPS systems; integrate safety

inspection data with vehicle emissions data; automate the administrative and program

management functions required in the program; and allow TxDPS and other authorized users

improved access to vehicle safety inspection data.

• Followed Waterfall methodology of SDLC.

• Used Rational RequisitePro to map the Usecases with the Requirements of the project.
