WORKED PROJECTS

Market Information Server System (MIS)

MIS is a warehouse PL/SQL application run on UNIX platform for processing

large size electrical power data. MIS populated data from remote market or

controller database, generated bunch of reports and distributed to register

customers. Developed PL/SQL packages for data population, reports

generation, security checking. Written shell script and Perl to distribute

files, PHP programs were used for job submitting, monitor and log files web

publish. Cursor, PL/SQL Collections, bulk collect and bulk load, DB link

and synonym, crone job were used.

Chemical Production Trading Manage System (CTMS)

CTMS is a multiple session client -server system using JAVA and Oracle DBMS

to manage trading data. In DB side, procedures, functions, packages and

triggers were developed to handle business logic and backup data into

warehouse DB. Many indexes, hints and collection techniques were used to

improve system performance.

SUT Content Management System (CMS)

CMS is an oracle based web application for multiple roles user to do the

file researching, updating, backup, reloading generation, testing,

auditing and monthly releasing concurrently. Used Oracle Apex 3.1 to

implement web page, 11g DBMS to develop DB application programs -

functions, procedures, packages, triggers. SQL* Loader, Modernized view,

external table, oracle scheduler and queue, BLOB transfer, java external

procedure, PSP, CSS and JavaScript were used here.

Sales/Users Tax System (SUT)

SUT is a PL/SQL engine to read inputting transaction file, calculate

taxes, generate tax report and audit reports. An Oracle Form and Report

client side toolkit is used to trigger report generation and customer

settings. This system was maintained by: upgraded toolkit from 6i form

and report to 10g (client-server to web based), created new adapter for

Oracle business suit using SQL*Plus scripts and shell script, created

SQL*Loader control scripts for fixing position and delimited data files,

developed install scripts for patch installing, version controller and

upgrade routine. Design programming model and tax mathematical model for

tax rule changes. Troubleshoot and bug fixing.
