direct digital synthesis clock generator board using the AD9852 DDS chip

which was enabled by a PIC18LF4525 micro-controller.

Performed EMC and environmental testing on a GPS receiver for the NetTek

spectrum analyzer.

Designed a 3D trackball with an Apple Desktop Bus for the CAChe worksystem.

Reduced trackball assembly time from 30 minutes to 30 seconds by using a

microprocessor to perform an automatic calibration routine. Supported all

manufacturing operations for circuit board assembly and testing.

1983-1987

Designed the horizontal and vertical deflection amplifiers for a LCD light

valve projection display with a resolution of 1280 X 1024 pixels. Designed

a line buffer/frame buffer memory card for a Mead Cycolor printer with a

resolution of 300 dots per inch. Demonstrated a unique raster scan printer

technology as

an alternative to ink-jet or laser-jet products.

Hardware/Software Engineer II, Integrated Circuit Operations

1981-1983

Developed ATE software for several key components in the 2465 and 2430

oscilloscopes. Designed hardware probe cards for testing the 2465

horizontal and vertical deflection amplifiers using the S3260 and S3030

semiconductor test systems.
