Program Manager for digital RF memory product line - Delivered a DRFM

prototype and subsequent pre-production units ahead of an accelerated

schedule resulting in ITT awarding Whittaker-Tasker a production contract

(RIF) Responsible for program management of all broadband, airborne antenna

design, development and production. Systems include antenna,

control electronics, radome and aircraft-specific installation

kits required for reception of Ku band receive function for

domestic and international video and data from satellites.

Systems include polarization conversion of linear polarized RF

to circular polarization with down conversion to L-band for

receiver input. Requirements included qualification to FAA

requirements. Domestic and international testing supported.

(RIF) Product Assurance Program Manager on commercial and classified

satellite programs. Responsible for proposal and program

systems. Extensive subcontractor interface for development of

baseband processor, TWT and various RF components. Extensive

experience on part, material and process issues related to S-

level part requirements.

EW suite. Unit provided coherent return of illumination

signal with sophisticated location alteration

asked if the title was for pay purposes only and informed them I was NOT

a Systems Engineer. They said come ahead. After a short time, it was

obvious they wanted a Systems Engineer so we parted company on a

mutually acceptable basis.
