. Trained and managed the Network Engineer project team on becoming ISO

9001 certified. This entailed creating local procedures defining software

processes and ensuring the processes were followed. This was accomplished

through training sessions, procedure document creation and quality record

tracking.

. Assisted the Quality Assurance Team by creating 56 testing documents for

testing their software through the Acceptance, New feature, Product Test

and Regression testing cycles. Test case documents were broken into test

on the Engineering Design Tool project. Working as the lead in maintaining

the schedule I was instrumental in identifying ways to leverage the current

project so that it would make a scheduled project run smoothly and more

cost effective. Ensuring technical architecture, coding and process

implemented today would strengthen and facilitate the next generation of

projects.

1. Provided remote Installation support for 10 telephone companies (24 X

7 hotline support) working with the customer IT teams to get the

product installed in the timeframe required. The 2 major software

releases shipped each year needed to be installed by each company on

the same weekend (National Cut). I provided the sole installation

support to our 10 customers during this time.

2. Designed, and documented release installation procedures and chaired

IT onsite conferences semi-annually to guide our customers' IT

personnel through the product release installation process. Two IT

personnel from each of the ten companies would attend the conference.

3. Received bonuses for providing outstanding customer support during

software installations to our customers.

Computer Software Developer 1989 - 1991

. Lead PL/1 software developer on the Central Office Equipment project.

Responsible for managing a team of 5 developers through the designing,

coding and testing new features requested by our customers. Ensuring

we delivered high quality software on-time. This also entailed

chairing calls with our domestic customers in creating design

specifications that suited their needs.

1988
